FEATURED: Chronically Cozy Life

I recently connected with Randi Pullar from Chronically Cozy Life over on Threads.  Randi is a neurodivergent, chronically ill entrepreneur who has committed to creating a space for other neurodivergent and/or chronically ill business owners to connect, grow, and feel supported.

A light-skinned woman sits on a couch with her legs pulled up to her chest and her head in her hands.

Randi recently asked me to write a guest blog on the topic of supporting your mental health while living with chronic illness.  As a mental health provider who is also a neurodivergent business owner and has experience navigating chronic illness, I was excited for this opportunity.

Here is an excerpt from my guest post:

“Living with chronic illness can take a toll on your mental health.  In fact, some chronic illnesses are even known for the mental health issues they cause and/or mimic.

Take, for example, someone living with unmanaged hypothyroidism.  They are constantly tired and fatigued, contending with focus issues and frequent headaches, dealing with a “bleh” mood, and struggling with getting quality sleep.  They may feel like a failure or lack hope that life can get any better.  Are they experiencing clinical depression, or are their hypothyroid symptoms mimicking depression?”

Head over to the Chronically Cozy blog to read the full post.

You can also check out the other resources that Randi has available, including copywriting services and business directory for neurodivergent and/or chronically ill small business owners.  Find it all at Chronically Cozy Life.
