Featured: Self-Care & Mental Wellness

“Self-care is central to mental health. I don’t necessarily mean bubble baths and pedicures, though those things can be a way of caring for yourself. Self-care also includes things like treating chronic health conditions, maintaining regular dental appointments, eating a variety of foods, moving your body in ways that feel good, making time for your hobbies and interests, spending time with loved ones, prioritizing time for rest and pleasure. In order to experience mental wellness, one must focus on self-care activities.”

This quote is taken from a recent interview I completed with Maria Angelova on the topic of Self-Care and Mental Wellness for Authority Magazine. Check out the full article here.

For many folks, self-care also includes therapy or counseling. You may be struggling with not feeling your best from a mental health perspective. This could include overwhelming worry that just won’t stop. You may be facing struggles with body image or intrusive thoughts about food and your body. Or you may be struggling to figure out your own interests and values as you reevaluate long-held beliefs.

If you find yourself resonating with any of the above concerns, I would be happy to chat with you in a free consultation to determine if we might be a good fit for working together. Please contact me here to schedule your free consultation.
